A 3D Quilled Jewellery box!!

The best and the worst thing about this project is that it does not require anything besides hand cut strips of tinted papers, glue, quilling tool, scissors and A LOT OF PATIENCE!!
The base.

The BEST thing being~That great feeling when u dont have to spend a lot to make something worth a lot.The minute you decide to make it,the only thing you need to do is open your storage, pull out some papers and start.
Box without the lid.
The WORST thing being~It gets too difficult when you dont have anything stiff to mount your quilled rolls and shapes on something stiff. Not just that you have to hold 2 rolls together till it semi dries and i would not recommend using quick drying glue as at places you need to change the shape or replace the roll when it does not fit in that particular circle.

Box with the lid.
The Dimensions: 8" broad and 5" tall aprox.
Materials : Blue, Green and Lavender tinted papers,
                 Quilling tool,
                 Glue and scissors.

  7. This is beautiful and love how you created the base with quilling. I so can relate to having something to mould the shape on. I have just had my first try of a quilled vase and it does take a lot of patience. Yours is lovely and neat. Thanks for sharing this with us at Unstampabelles.
